So would I be right or wrong by saying I can my AI have unlimited ammo by adding the following code below the setskill code snippet?
_aiunit addEventHandler ["Fired", {(_this select 0) setvehicleammo 1}];
Thanks again Scottieo, awesome! Have you figured out how to get the unlimited Ammo working for the AI yet? I would love to see a code snippet for that, thats really the last thing I need.
Okay, so this running out of ammo thing is pretty annoying. I think the best way to resolve it, for now, is to stop the AI from firing at the Zombies. Does anyone know what changes I can make to my .pbo to do this? I only want them to fire upon survivors. Here is my current .pbo
That makes sense, I thought it would have something to do with those lines. Thanks for the quick response, I'm really impressed by how many folks on here are willing to help out us noobs. You guys are awesome :)
okay, so thanks to Scotio, I think I'm actually starting to figure this out. I've got most of my AI functioning how I want them and at their desired locations., but they are still running out of ammo for some reason and I cannot figure out where to fix that. Could anyone point me in the right...
What I would really like is a couple squads that roamed the entire map (like center them in the middle of the map and make their radius like 7,000 meters I guess?) And then it would be cool if devils castle, the NE airfield, the NW airfield, and stary sober all had like gaurd patrols of those...
Okay, so I see 6 civilians and 6 soldiers. The civilians seem to be just hanging out in one spot, not really moving excpet for the going in prone and back up type stuff...no actual roaming. The soldiers are all in prone, hardly moving at all. This is awseom if I could gew them to roam around.
