if you have a moment perhaps you could join my test server and I could show you what I mean about not playing nice with the antihack? Your previous version worked fine except the name showed up very very large.. so it must be that variable checks you added are being blocked somehow.
no thats not it.. we tried several times.. something you changed is most likely not playing nicely with the antihack. Even for me as an admin it is very buggy. If you'd like to join my test server you can observe this for yourself. I think I'd rather stick with your original version and just...
Ok tested your new version.. my group mate is unable to see my name or marker, I am able to see his name and marker but it is constantly blinking. This makes me think that whatever you changed is being blocked by the antihack.
And also the name was still huge.
Also Im not so worried about the size "staying" big but as you can see in my above picture even if you're close to the person it's quite tiny.
I imagine that's just changing the numbers at the top

what about player names on the actual icons? That's one I can't figure out because yours and ebay's are coded so much differently...
Im assuming the change would need to be made in Screen_loop.sqf?

Yes I saw the minsize and maxsize.. I've changed the values but unfortunately I can't play around with it without another player on the test server.
On a lower difficulty if you set

Then you can see nearby vehicles...
No other filters were necessary. I dont mind adding the specific variables just in case someone creates a hack with a variable starting in !CD_ lol but yea no big deal. I don't use scripts.txt on my server so Im not sure if you need to filter anything there.
Yea the hints are a nice idea but...
The dead body thing is a bit of a novelty and I believe they can probably learn to live without it.. but the lack of a player name in the icon will definitely cause problems.

change any hints to something like this

Script works well on my test server. Need to upload it to the main server for proper testing.
Small problems I see with it, it's very bare bones. Players are going to have a shit fit after coming from DZGM to this.
Nametags don't show names just the colored square...
I do have some small requests though if Im to make this go live. Im hoping you'll entertain them.
Mainly to add names to the name tags, add a dead body marker to the map, and also possibly move the the notifications down to title text instead of hints.. because anyone with their debug monitor...
yea sorry i was just able to test it tonight literally as Im typing this. It all seems to work but I won't know fully until I put it on the main server and see how it works with a full server with many different groups.

actually no you click on the persons name in the group manager but there is no invite button, only "form group" the person never receives the invite. When you check after the person says they sent you an invite there is no way to accept the invite. Sorry for the delay. I am on US Eastern time...
ok so I fired it up on the test server. After filtering everything in battleye I got it to work, except it doesn't seem to work. When I invite my buddy to the group it just seems to place us in a group with a non existent AI who is "away." It doesn't place us in a group together.
