How have you confirmed that the person is actually from that server? I means anyone could use that name if they wanted. I am only curious because people have been known to impersonate me before.

How would that work though? If those extra slots fill it wont kick someone else to make more room.

Did you change the name of the arma server executable? If so uncomment the setting and put in the right name in your bec config.

Try changing '%' to 'localhost' if everything is local. Also if your user for your server database is 'dayz'@'%' you are in trouble. Hacker could get your hive config file via loadfile and then truncated your database. Let me explain, mysql users go like this 'username'@'ip to connect from'...

Bliss is really easy to install, if you follow the steps it works perfectly. Not to sound rude but if you consider that too hard to install then you shouldn't be hosting a server anyways.

Alright I just want to make sure innocent people do not get added. The CBL is filled with a bunch of bans submitted by admins that don't know how to properly read log files.

KK yes I use your tools, I am the one waiting for multi-instance support :D. I have an admin section where my admins can check inventories. I also replaced all 50 cal snipers, so anyone with them gets banned. For some reason hackers love those weapons.

Basically if I see something that looks like a hack I update my parser to ban for it. Right now it is pretty crude but it works. Mostly stops teleporting and loot box spawning.

fred41 it blocked it for a while, not sure if hackers have found a way around it. As for managing my servers I have my own parser that goes through the logs as well as a team of active admins. Plus we are always on teamspeak so people can message us there and we can quickly look into things.
