Hey, do have an idea why there are no vehicles spawning on my server? I use your server pack, mod v.1.8.1... I ran the stored procedures, the spawns are written to the object_data table but they don´t show up ingame. Log sayz nothing related to it. Any idea?
I´ve spawned the vehicles to the database using the stored procedures (pMain) and the vehicles are written to the object_data table. Yay.
When I fire up the server, not a single vehicle is in the game.
Am I missing something?
I´m running 1.8.1 and infistar.
Cheers.
Hmm... I installed the pack... spawned the vehicles using the stored procedures in MySQL, but unfortunately they are not showing up ingame. All spawn points are empty. Hive tools tell me, that there are spawns (I think it gets the info directly from the db). infistar Admin tool shows no...
Strange isn´t it? I have another theory. My mission file is quite large and the download pauses at about 38kb for 2-4 seconds. Maybe that makes them disconnect because of ADS.
There´s a strange behaviour I observed.
A lot of players log on my server, 5-10 seconds later, they disconnect.
Maybe they realize, that it's a private hive? I don´t know. Do you guys see similar behaviour on your servers?
Here is what -showScriptErrors says, when a non-admin tries to build:
Shown line in player_build2.sqf (no combat timer) is:
255 flagcount = _flagcount + 1;
256 _flagname = format ["Flag_%1",_x];
257 _flagMarker = createMarkerLocal [_flagName,position _x];
258 _flagMarker...
*facepalm* I found the bug. Because I'm a genius, I disabled
call compile preprocessFileLineNumbers "scripts\dayz_code\init\settings.sqf";
in the init.sqf.
I'm so smart. Not.
The white button may be because you have to have the exact amount of materials in your inventory to build the desired structure.
My problem (on DayZ 1.8) may orginate from a bug in die build-array, I think. I´ll have to keep on looking.
Did you find a solution for this?
I solved this some time ago on another server, but I don´t remember the trick... Is there a wrong path in the scripts somewhere?
Thanks for the offer. I disabled BaseBuilding 1.3 a while ago. My RPT-log didn´t show any errors, still people couldn´t build flags, when not registered as infiSTAR-Admins. Maybe I´ll give it another try this weekend...
They match my "allowed action", as you mentioned. They are the original ones from the latest infiSTAR.
I´d like to know, has someone even solved this issue und would like to tell us how he did it?!
As I understand, to fix the infiSTAR Antihack issue (normal players can´t place flags, "You are already building."), you have to add actions to the "ALLOWED Actions"-Array in the AHconfig.sqf.
Is this actually working? Can someone confirm,please? Has someone a list of those actions?
All ll see...
Hmm... there are people building bases... the infiniStar issue still exist. Non-admins cannot build flags. A quick fix is letting admins build the flags and transfer the rights to the player.
Still there is another problem... people cannot log in and are stuck at "Server requests auth..."
Hey guys,
Battleye is giving a hard time with this here...
People get kicked for filling up vehicles with 20l jerry cans...
publicvariable.log says
Value Restriction #81 "PVDZ_send" = [<NULL-object>,"SetFuel",[<NULL-object>,0.4]]
I´m a little lost here.
!="PVDZ_send" is set
In...
There are only one or two filter settings that needed escaping and those are perfectly provided in the correct syntax. Works for me. Got BB 1.3 running perfectly on my servers.
