Where is the missions folder on my server?

Hi,

I was following the tutorial for adding Halo spawns to my server and I came stuck when I reached the step:
Mission Changes


1. dayz_X.chernarus>>init.sqf
(X represents your instance ID)

I'm probably being stupid as i haven't had server long, but I couldn't find this file in my file manager on my control panel. I could find it on my computer locally but i didn't figure i would be required to change something local or surely all the community on my server would to...

sorry if its stupid to ask and im being dim but it screwed me lol,
