Cant find mission file for dayz.

ive been looking for this damn this for the past 12 hours and my buddies have too. we cant find out. Im pretty sure im retarded when it come to this stuff. any chances someone can help me with this? i have skype and teamspeak.

you dont automatically get it if your host is dayz.st then in your control panel near the bottom you need to tick enable for advanced settings

then you will be able to download your default mission file and server file by clicking get default

for either one then you will need a tool to unpack/repack the pbo (i recommend pbo manager)
 
If you have access to your ftp, the mission file should be in a folder called mpmissions, i'm not to sure how dayz.st works.

If you're talking about the mission you download and gets stored on your client then that's in
Code: 
C:\Users\pc name\AppData\Local\ArmA 2 OA\MPMissionsCache
Pc name would be the name that's located on your start menu or on the login screen when you login to windows.

Mission file for the server should be in the folder called mpmissions tho.

The mission file won't be on your computer unless you have downloaded the mission file from your host, if you have and still use the default folder then it should be in your downloads folder.


Edit seems Bushwookie420 know more about dayz.st host then me, may wanna take his advice
 
Read what bushwookie said for your dayz.st host if you're talking about the stuff in the code box I posted you can't simply copy and paste that. Need to go to users in you c: drive then your computer name then appdata them local then arms 2 oa folder then mpmissionscache
 
ok so i got th file, i tried to put in sarges ai, but no luck.

mission file got bigger and that was about it. any ideas?

re download a clean mission file and follow the steps to install sarge AI slowly and double check each step is done correctly with no errors if it still doesn't work i would advise you to learn the basics of SQF before continuing with trying to modify your mission file or just see if anyone will do it for you its better to learn tho
 
ok i got it to work bushwook. thanks. so if i wanted to add in the mission scrpit. how would i do that? i have seen that i'll have to edit stuff. and they should work with the latest right?
