That is going to be a major PITA to move to.

The SQL files they provided in the official release only create new tables and procedures rather than altering existing ones or converting from 1803 > 181 format.

The major database changes I see are the new pk pickups, achievements, character_dead table, bloodbags, items and a few other things. It shouldn't be too hard to import data and then make some SQL scripts to convert existing official private hive databases to 181. It would have been nice if they provided SQL update scripts to do this in the official release like epoch does.

Converting from Reality > official or pwnz0r and keeping your current DB would be a major PITA. No custom building, loadout, deployable or world_vehicle tables. You would need to redo all your vehicle spawn points, move custom buildings to script spawned and convert your profile and survivor tables to player_data and character_data/character_dead format.

I think it is more trouble than it is worth, unless someone updates Reality. Probably just gonna do a database wipe and fresh start. :(

Man ebay I was hoping you would have better news for me :( I appreciate the reply but am very dissapointed to hear that i'm probably going to have to start from scratch... :|
 
I honestly think that people should start dropping Reality. It doesn't make any sense waiting for someone to go through all the Hive files and .dlls files every month (now that the updates should be released more often) just to get it to work. On the long run, moving to the official hive and making changes to your (if applicable) infiSTAR AH and write a couple of more scripts to replace the 999 calls is far more efficient than sticking to Reality.
 
I completely agree but damn I hate to wipe everything and start over fresh ^_^ It really pisses your players off when you do that.

Yeah and infiStar´s script is still deep into the Reality Hive scheme. He really should update his script to the official hive calls, if he doesn´t want to lose even more people using it.

Updating the script everytime he pushes an update is so annoying.
