Help with LHD and saving helis and planes

Hi, I have managed to spawn in the LHD using the in game 3D editor and then adding via my mission PBO. I am wanting to add a couple of these on my server and then people can use them as an offshore base if found! I have managed to get tents placed and saving OK but every time i leave a heli on there it blows up on server restart. Anyone have any idea how i can stop this from happening?

The problem is that the game loads the vehicles first and buildings later, LHD is considered a building. Most likely every time your server starts, any vehicle that was left on the LHD falls to the sea and explodes.

How to solve this? There you got me. Maybe forcing the server to spawn the LHDs first?

Also, remember that when on the LHD it's the same as being inside water. Your temperature will drop constantly. You might want to spawn some boxes with heatpacks.
 
Perhaps you can make a trigger in the area where the LHD spawns that will start with the server and that can make it so all the vehicles in the trigger area get their simulations disabled? This should make it so they aren't affected by gravity... I believe. If you can accomplish this, then it's a matter of making it so the trigger expires after a minute or two, so they vehicles will become usable again.

EDIT: Who knows if the triggers load before the vehicles though... Then it's the same problem all over again.
 
Thanks for your reply, i have placed refuel points and fire barrels on the LHD's and they work in keeping the temp up. My thoughts were it spawning in the heli's before the LHD making them hit the sea and explode. I have no idea on how i can get the vehicles to spawn after the buildings. or even know where to start looking o_O very new to all this at the moment.
