After weeks of sifting through endless servers and getting sick of Admins taking advantage of their powers, we have decided to host our own server! As admins we (Mander and Rave(Raveypoopoo on OpenDayZ.com)) want things to be on an even grounds for everyone (including us) so like everyone else we have started from scratch(no custom bases, spawning vehicles etc.) We will avidly maintain this ideal of fair play throughout your/our DayZ experience while trying to enhance it as much as possible.
But don't get us wrong, don't follow the rules and we will do what we must because we can. The rules are as follows:
- All standard etiquette applies (No hacking etc.)
- Please don't use voice on the side channel. (Emergencies aside, keep it to text)
- Combat logging against players will be punished if caught. (Please report players doing this to an Admin/Mod)
- Using the M107 for PVP is forbidden until it is fixed. (It will be deleted from your inventory if you do)
As you can see, rules are set to enhance a proper DayZ experience instead of hinder it. Alongside a level playing field we have also implicated several mods to make things more interesting. Mods are as follows along with a screenshot:
- Custom Toggleable Debug
- Custom Auto Refuel
- Custom Crash Site System
- Advanced Kill Messages (that don't reveal the killer's name!)
- Enhanced Study Body
- Fast Roping
- Custom Care Packages
- Street Lights
- HALO Jumping
We have balanced everything to the best of our abilities but if you join and feel somethings are out of whack we are always reachable and open for suggestions. We will do our best to work with our community to make everyone as happy as possible. Our numbers are a bit low right now so be if you are interested please be patient as we are confident in our ability to expand. P.S. There are plans of implementing more things as we grow and progress, such as PVP events. If you have any ideas that you would like for us to consider you know where to find us.
NOTE: Due to recent heavy testing with care packages, crash sites, refueling, HALO Jumping etc. if you look you will find ESP in our missions files. This is here to ease the frustration of testing and decrease the amount of time our server is down. Once everything is implemented and running smoothly we will be removing this. There is also a dual debug, we implemented to see what kind of options we have to give people in terms of debug stats. We will be giving everyone the same thing in the end (including admins). If anyone is unhappy with this we would be glad to remove it completely but just keep in mind this may result in loosing things such as altitude on the debug until we can implement and test a new one.
