Veteran Mode

I was trying to find a way to change my server from Regular to Veteran?

In Dayz_1.world\ folder, find config_deadbeef.cfg
Find difficulty , and set it to = "veteran";

That must be where I messed up. I don't even see that Dayz_1.world folder.
I thought is said in the install that it would be created during deployment, but i never saw it.

ou must have a folder called dayz_NUMER.WORLD


where:

NUMBER: is the number of the instance
WORLD. is the name of the world

a few of examples:

dayz_1.chernarus
dayz_2.lingor

So you must have some folder with that pattern and then edit the config_RANDOM.cfg

RANDOM: is a random string generated in the process of creating the deploy files (build.pl)

Ok found it. Don't know how many times I looked there and messed it.
The only other problem I have is it is always night

For the night, in the same folder you will found a HiveExt.ini file
first do a backup, then edit the [Time] set it as Type=Custom and then in Offset put your time according the GMT 0 (zero)

I have a time offset as -3GMT now in argentina are 15pm, so in offset i must set it with Offset=-3 to have the SAME time as my country, BUT if i want to be more early i can change to Offset=-6 thath will represent the 12am

So, you must play with that settings, to apply the changes you must RESTART the server closing the arma2oaserver.exe after every change, at least in Bliss branch.
